Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Yosemite uses cookies and similar technologies on yosemite.dev. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files or pieces of information that may be stored on or accessed from a user's device when visiting a website.

Cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, can be used to enable essential website functionality, remember preferences, maintain security and measure how a website is used.

Not every technology used by a website necessarily stores personal data, but some cookies and similar identifiers may involve the processing of personal information.

2. Types of cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These are required for the website to work correctly and securely, or to provide a service you have specifically requested — such as remembering your cookie choice or protecting the contact form against bots. They do not require consent.

Analytics

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are visited. They are only activated after you give consent.

We do not use functional, advertising or marketing cookies.

4. Third-party technologies

Some features rely on third-party providers:

  • Google Analytics (Google) — website analytics, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare) — bot protection on the contact form.
  • Vercel — hosts the website and delivers its content.

Third-party providers may set or access their own cookies or identifiers and may process data under their own privacy terms. More information is available in our Privacy Policy.

5. Consent

Analytics stays disabled until you make a choice. The Google Analytics script is not loaded at all before you accept.

Our cookie banner offers Accept, Reject and Manage preferences at the same level. Reject is never hidden behind extra steps, and the preferences panel has no pre-ticked boxes.

Continuing to browse the website is not treated as consent.

6. Changing or withdrawing consent

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the “Cookie Settings” link in the website footer.

If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics is switched off and its cookies are deleted from this website's domain.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

7. How long is cookie consent remembered?

Your cookie choice is remembered for 12 months, so the banner does not appear on every visit. After that, we ask you again.

If we make material changes to the cookies we use or their purposes, we may ask for your consent again sooner.

8. Browser controls

You can also manage or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Browser controls differ depending on the browser and device.

Blocking certain strictly necessary technologies may affect website functionality, such as submitting the contact form.

9. Updates to this Cookie Policy

We may update this policy if:

  • We add or remove cookies
  • We change technology providers
  • The purposes of data processing change
  • Applicable legal or regulatory requirements change

The current version will always be available on this page.
